Who we are

Committed to Transforming OUR COMMUNITY Through Education .

The USIU-Africa Half Marathon is a flagship annual running event organized by United States International University–Africa that brings together students, faculty, alumni, corporate partners, and the wider community to run for a meaningful cause. Launched in 2025 under the theme “Miles for Education,” the marathon combines competitive athletics, wellness promotion, and philanthropy by raising funds to support scholarships for financially challenged students. Hosted at the USIU-Africa campus and surrounding routes, the event features multiple race categories designed for both professional runners and recreational participants, creating an inclusive platform for fitness, community engagement, and social impact. Beyond being a race, the USIU-Africa Half Marathon serves as a powerful movement that promotes healthy living, strengthens partnerships, and creates educational opportunities that empower future leaders and changemakers.
