The USIU-Africa Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

The marathon is open to everyone and includes the following race categories:

  • 21KM Half Marathon (Male & Female)
  • 10KM Race (Male & Female)
  • 10KM CEO Challenge (Up to 4 C-suite executives per team)
  • 10KM Corporate Challenge (Up to 10 participants per team)
  • 5KM Fun Run (Open to students, staff, faculty, alumni, families, and friends)

Note: Running is a physically demanding activity, and all participants must be medically and physically fit to participate.

The CEO Challenge is a special category designed for business leaders and executives to promote health and wellness while supporting the Miles for Education Initiative.

The Corporate Challenge is a team-based race where companies and running clubs compete in the 10KM & 21KM category. Each team consists of four participants, and their final ranking is determined by the team’s average time.

Proceeds go towards supporting USIU-Africa’s Financial Aid Program. The registration fees are:

  • USIU Students:  KES 1,500
  • Early Bird: KES 1,700
  • Early bird Kids U18: KES 1,500
  • Family/ Group Early Bird (4 tickets): KES 6,400
  • CEO challenge 10Kms: KES 20,000
  • Corporate Challenge: KES 50,000
  • Regular: KES 2,000
  • Regular Kids U18: KES 1,800
  • Family/ Group Regular (4 tickets): KES 7,400

Important: Payments are only accepted online. No cash payments should be made to any individual.

Yes, payments can be made using debit/credit cards, mobile money, and other secure online payment methods.

Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email and receipt at the email address you provided.

Yes, another person can collect your kit, but they must present:

  • A printed or digital copy of your confirmation slip
  • Their identification document
  • Start Point: USIU-Africa Gate C
  • Finish Points:
    • 21KM, 10KM, CEO Challenge, Corporate Challenge, Institution Challenge: USIU-Africa Gate D
    • 5KM Fun Run: USIU-Africa Gate C
