Welcome to the USIU-Africa Half Marathon 2026. This charity half marathon started by the USIU-Africa students in 2025 to help uplift deserving students in need is more than just a race, it is a movement of purpose, community, and shared impact.
This is the second edition of the USIU-Africa Half Marathon charity event and it brings together a vibrant mix of participants from students, alumni, staff, corporate partners, professional athletes, families, and friends from across Kenya and beyond. Whether you are running competitively, walking with friends, or simply showing up in support, you become part of something bigger than yourself. We especially welcome the children because the charity half marathon not only contributes to the scholarships cause, but inspires the children to desire pursuing higher education. Our goal during this charity event is for children that participate to say, ‘I must join a university when I grow up!’
At the heart of this charity half marathon is a powerful mission: to inspire new success stories by raising university scholarship funds for bright and deserving students in financial need. Every step taken, every registration, every kilometer or mile covered, every proforma circulated, every hip swayed, and every partnership contributes directly to opening doors of opportunity and transforming lives through higher education.
But beyond the cause, the USIU-Africa Half Marathon is also a celebration. It is about the laughter shared at the starting line, the encouragement along the course, the joy of crossing the finish line, and the memories created together. It is about building connections, strengthening community, and writing a story that each participant proudly becomes part of.
We warmly invite partners, alumni, students, employees, the public, professional athletes, children that are the future university students wherever they will pursue higher education, and our international friends to join us, whether as participants, sponsors, or champions of this cause. Your involvement not only fuels the success of the event but also strengthens a legacy of giving, unity, and impact.
