When is the race?
The USIU-Africa Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Who can participate in the marathon?
The marathon is open to everyone and includes the following race categories:
- 21KM Half Marathon (Male & Female)
- 10KM Race (Male & Female)
- 10KM CEO Challenge (Up to 4 C-suite executives per team)
- 10KM Corporate Challenge (Up to 10 participants per team)
- 5KM Fun Run (Open to students, staff, faculty, alumni, families, and friends)
Note: Running is a physically demanding activity, and all participants must be medically and physically fit to participate.
What is the CEO Challenge?
The CEO Challenge is a special category designed for business leaders and executives to promote health and wellness while supporting the Miles for Education Initiative.
What is the Corporate Challenge?
The Corporate Challenge is a team-based race where companies and running clubs compete in the 10KM & 21KM category. Each team consists of four participants, and their final ranking is determined by the team’s average time.
What are the registration fees?
Proceeds go towards supporting USIU-Africa’s Financial Aid Program. The registration fees are:
- USIU Students: KES 1,500
- Early Bird: KES 1,700
- Early bird Kids U18: KES 1,500
- Family/ Group Early Bird (4 tickets): KES 6,400
- CEO challenge 10Kms: KES 20,000
- Corporate Challenge: KES 50,000
- Regular: KES 2,000
- Regular Kids U18: KES 1,800
- Family/ Group Regular (4 tickets): KES 7,400
Important: Payments are only accepted online. No cash payments should be made to any individual.
Can I pay using my Debit/ATM card?
Yes, payments can be made using debit/credit cards, mobile money, and other secure online payment methods.
How do I know my registration is successful?
Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email and receipt at the email address you provided.
When and where can I collect my race kit?
Details on race kit collection dates and times will be shared via email closer to the event. You can also check out the Runner’s Guide page to learn more about kit collection.
Can someone collect my race kit on my behalf?
Yes, another person can collect your kit, but they must present:
- A printed or digital copy of your confirmation slip
- Their identification document
